Chris has made several significant changes to his GTO since his first three posted pictures back in early 2016. He replaced the stock 15 X 7 Rally II’s with 17X 8 American Racing rims and 220/50R17 tires. He also put Wilwood disc brakes on all four corners and converted back to a manual brake system. However, after just a couple of months he was not real happy with the manual brake system. So, he installed a HydroBoost brake system that taps into the hydraulic pressure from the power steering system. Works like a charm! He finally gave up on the factory air and replaced it with a Vintage Air system. Well worth the time, effort, and money spent. To the extent possible, he has replaced all the lights with LED. Brighter and easier to see. He will probable go with LED headlight next. With these older classic cars it is a never ending project!
